The Compost Club leads a practical effort for waste reduction
If you are interested in lending a hand, we have a need for volunteers.
In 2009, we will initiate a once per month volunteer day.
Carpentry-
We provide schools with compost centers. Both first time carpenters and skilled carpenters are welcome. We build:
Worm bins and benches to start a school compost center.
Rotational composters- we construct advanced compost systems as funds become available.
Education-
We host workshops and visit K-12 classrooms upon request as a fee based service.
We table at community events occasionally.
We provide teacher in service trainings upon request as a fee based service.
Website development-
We are interested in developing an interactive website for schools.
Fund development-
We seek skilled fund developers to assist with proposal writing school start up costs
Farm-
We are interested in a sharecrop arrangement where we will start up a small soil and worm farm.
